499. That’s how many posts I’ve made on Tumblr. I said at 500 posts, I’d do something photo related, but that’s looking like it’s not going to happen. Anyway, this post is to say that I’m leaving Tumblr, because I started my own website and it has a blogging feature which I will be utilizing.

I’d just like to take the time to thank everyone that’s read the things I’ve posted, about my woman situation and about my life in general. My follower base wasn’t big, but still, it’s always appreciated when people feel for me. I wanted to make this a photo blog and I failed on that front, but that’s what my new blog is going to be, it’s going to be strictly a photo/photo related blog.
I’m at the point where even though I don’t own any camera gear, I really need to start investing in my work and being critical of myself and my skills in order to achieve my goals. Anyone with a camera can take a picture, but it takes a real artist to take a photograph and I want to be an artist. I’m really looking forward to the challenges that face me and the skills and techniques I’m going to learn along the way.
